1. AI Scribes

Practice EHR Announces Soft Launch of AI Scribe Feature

We are thrilled to announce the soft launch of our groundbreaking AI Scribe functionality, available exclusively to a select group of clients. This innovative feature is designed to transform the way healthcare providers document patient interactions, seamlessly integrating with the clinical workflow to streamline administrative tasks.

Key Features of AI Scribe:

  • Effortless Integration of Conversations: AI Scribe captures provider-patient conversations and recordings, intelligently extracting relevant medical information.
  • Automated Clinical Notes: The AI processes these recordings and automatically populates clinical notes into the appropriate sections, previously referred to as "Comments."
  • Enhanced Accuracy: Based on the conversation, AI Scribes suggests relevant diagnosis and procedure codes, improving both accuracy and completeness in clinical documentation.

Benefits of AI Scribe:

  • Reduced Administrative Burden: Providers can focus on diagnosing and treating patients rather than spending excessive time on documentation. This feature significantly reduces the time required for administrative tasks.
  • Improved Workflow Efficiency: With AI handling note-taking and coding suggestions, providers can deliver more personalized and timely care.
  • Minimized Risk of Errors: By automating note-taking and code suggestions, AI Scribes enhances the accuracy of documentation, leading to better patient outcomes.

2. API INTEGRATIONS

Practice EHR API Integration Overview

We’re excited to introduce Practice EHR’s new API integration capabilities, designed to streamline and customize workflows by connecting Practice EHR with a broad selection of external applications. From billing platforms to task management tools, these integrations empower users to enhance efficiency and tailor workflows to specific needs.

Accessing API Integration Features

A new API Users sub-tab is now available within the User menu of the Setup tab. Here, users can:

  • View existing API keys
  • Create new API keys tailored to specific integration requirements

Adding a New API Key

To generate a new API key:

  1. Click on the "New API Key" button, which will open the API User window.
  2. In this window, select the Generate button to create a unique API key.
  3. Assign an API Key Name for easy identification and select the vendor for integration.
  4. Click Save to finalize the API key creation process.

Managing Existing API Keys

Users can locate existing API keys by searching for:

  • API Key Name: Unique identifier for each key
  • Access Rights: Specific applications integrated with Practice EHR
  • Created Date: Date the API key was generated

The Action column provides icons to:

  • Copy the API key for use
  • View key details
  • Delete the key if needed

Utilizing the API Key

The generated API keys can be used across various applications to interact with Practice EHR’s API endpoints, providing versatile options for workflow automation and custom integration.

With these new capabilities, Practice EHR is more adaptable than ever, enabling users to configure integrations that meet their unique operational demands.
