Practice EHR is excited to provide an additional solution for submitting claims to a non-medical plan. iHCFA is a clearinghouse processing workers’ compensation and auto personal injury bills with all supporting documents. Clients will need to contact Practice EHR Client Services or Client Support to request this feature.
1. Claim submission for workers’ compensation and no-fault claim forms (iHCFA).
A subscription with Carisk Partners (iHCFA) is also required to start electronically submitting these specific claims. Carisk will provide the practice with credentials for the account and share that information with Practice EHR to configure the claims processing system within the software. Contact Carisk Partners at (888) 238-4792.
The user will then update the associated insurance plan profiles to reflect the intent to process those claims through iHCFA, including the Plan Type, Claim Form, and Category to reflect ‘WC’ or ‘NF’ as appropriate.
If the EDI Payer # is unknown, the magnifying glass will provide search results specific to the iHCFA Category.
The user will also be able to filter the claims within the Pending Electronic Submission bucket on the Billing Dashboard to manage these claims separately.
