OVERVIEW OF UPDATES three-images

AI- Powered Fax Suggestions

This feature will be rolled out in phases on selected clients.

What’s new:

  • Automatic AI suggestions for Patient, Document Purpose, and Link Document Typewhen a fax is received.
  • One-click acceptance to auto-populate details in the Fax Received screen.
  • New columns in the Fax Received Grid:
    • AI Patient: Suggested patient by AI.
    • AI Document Purpose: Purpose identified by AI.
    • AI Accepted: Yes/No indicator for acceptance.
  • The system learns from accepted suggestions, improving future accuracy.

Use Cases:

  • A provider quickly links incoming referral documents to the correct patient record without manual searching.
  • Administrative staff reduce errors by accepting AI-suggested document types, ensuring consistency.
  • Clinics save time by having the system auto-learn and pre-fill future document purposes.

Navigations:

  • Reports > General > Fax Received > Document Detail

Steps to Follow:

1. Click on the Fax Received Date(Hyper Linked), to open the Document received via Fax.

2. In Document Viewer, AI Suggestionis introduced, which shows the Patient Name, Document Purpose and Link Document Type.

3. Upon clicking on the Accept Button,the Patient Details such as, Patient Account # and Document Type will be populated in the Select Patient and Document type fields as shown below

4. Finally Click on the Link Button, to link the document with the AI Suggested Patient.

 

5. The details will be populated in the Fax Received Screen, as shown below.

After Linking the Patient and Document Type, the Details will be added in the Fax Received Grid, in the designated columns.

There are new columns added in the Fax Received Grid/table

  • AI Patient:Displays the patient suggested by the AI.
  • AI Document Purpose: Shows the document purpose identified by the AI
  • AI Accepted:Indicates whether the AI suggestion has been accepted or rejected (Yes/No).

In the enhanced Fax Received UI, the Fax Received date is now hyperlinked, allowing users to view and link documents directly with patients, reducing clicks and improving usability.

Moreover, once user Accept the AI suggestions, the system will learn the Document Purpose and Document Type linking and will suggest the same upon Next document.

HCFA Docs & Visit Attachments - Enhancement

What’s new:

  • Visit attachments and HCFA documents are now automatically combined in a single step.
  • One-click printing of both HCFA documents and associated visit attachments as a single PDF.

Use Cases:

  • Billing staff eliminate manual merging, reducing errors and saving time.
  • Claims submissions are more accurate, minimizing payer rejections.
  • Administrators gain a reliable, organized PDF record for compliance and auditing.

Steps to follow:

Billing > Paper Submission > Plan Paper Submission

1. Visit the Billing Tab, and select the Paper Submission (Paper Visit(s) to be Submitted), as shown below

2. Now Select the Visits,by checkbox and click on the Plain Paper Submission.

3. The system will populate the HCFA documentat first and then the Attachments of the selected visits, as shown below.

4. Now click on the Print button,system will print the PDF of HCFA document and visit Attachments.

Enhancement: In-House Lab Tests in Documents Tab

What’s new:

  • When in-house lab test results are entered and verified, a Lab Test Results document is automatically created in the Documents Tab.
  • Results can be easily viewed, downloaded, or printed.

Use Cases:

  • Providers ensure verified lab results are instantly available in the patient records.
  • Patients benefit from quicker turnaround as results are organized and accessible.
  • Staff save time retrieving lab results since they are automatically stored in the Documents Tab.

Steps to Navigate:

1. Click on the Patient > Lab and select the Test with In-House Lab Type.

2. Now Order the Lab, by clicking on the Order Button,shown below.

3. The order Lab test will be moved to the Waiting for Result bucket, where Results can be entered as shown below.

4. Upon clicking on the Enter Results, system will populate the Lab Order Detail window, where Lab Results can be entered.

5. After Entering the Results, the Test will be moved to the Pending Dr. Review Bucket, where User can select the testand click on Verify button as shown below.

6. Click on the Verify Button to verify the Results.

7. After verifying the Test, System will add the Lab Testin the Documents, where user can view, download and print the Document, as shown below.

8. In the below screen, the Lab testis visible which can be downloaded and printed accordingly.
