Plan Follow-up - Billing Module

The Plan Follow-Up tab is where you chase claims with insurance balances still open past thirty days, along with anything that came back denied, underpaid, or processed incorrectly.

Search the bucket by assigned reason, group, plan, visit number, or account number, or just leave the fields blank and click Search to see everything in it. The matching claims load below; click a follow-up visit number to open that claim's detail window.

Inside, the work splits across four sections. Detail is the main one — view the follow-up details, update the status, and log notes from any calls you've made on the claim. Claim Status pulls the electronic status of the claim from the payer. Elect EOB shows the electronic explanation of benefits that came back. History keeps a running record of everything that's happened on the follow-up.
