The billing dashboard provides several key performance indicators to help monitor the financial health of your practice.

  • Automated daily activities are system functions that are automated and performed daily.
  • To do billing activities are activities that are to be performed by the user.
  • Within the activities all items require user action upon claims and payments that have been billed and/or received in your system.

Charge Listing

Learn about charge listing in Practice EHR.

 

The charge listing tab is where you can view all charge details.

  • Charges can be filtered by date of service, charge#, visit#, account number or patient name.
  • Selecting the charge number will give you the ability to view the specific charge detail.

Plan Payment

The plan payment tab is where you can apply a plan payment from the insurance company.

  • Single insurance payment entry.
  • Batch insurance payment entry.

Plan Followup

Learn how to navigate the plan follow up tab in Practice EHR.

 

The plan follow up bucket provides a list of claims without outstanding insurance balances and claims that may have been denied, under payed or processed incorrectly.

  • View outstanding insurance claims that are 30 days old.
  • Review detailed follow up claim history.
  • Create insurance follow up call notes.

Patient Followup

In the patient follow up tab provides a list of claims with outstanding patient balances.

  • View outstanding patient balances that are 30 days old.
  • Review detailed follow up claim history.
  • Create patient follow up call notes.

Encounter Form

Learn about the encounter form in Practice EHR.

 
  • The encounter form allows you to communicate your charges.
  • See and select charges to be billed, select and associate diagnosis codes to your billed charges.
  • Once you have finished inputting your charges you can then mark the encounter as “Ready to Bill”. This will generate a billed visit to be sent to the insurance or patient.
  • Here you can also customize and design your encounter to meet your practices specific needs by using the design feature.
